2025Recently, the ESP Thin Sheet Plant made a significant breakthrough in the trial production of RE600H high-strength patterned steel plates, successfully launching the thinnest specifications available on the market at equivalent strength levels. With superior flatness, consistent pattern height, and exceptional performance, this product fills a market gap and further enriches the company’s portfolio of specialized offerings.
Facing urgent market demand for high-strength patterned steel plates, traditional hot-rolling processes have struggled to meet customer expectations due to challenges such as poor plate flatness and excessive thickness tolerance. To address these limitations, the ESP Division, in collaboration with the T2 Department and other teams, conducted in-depth research. Leveraging prior experience in producing 1.0mm ultra-thin specifications, the team optimized roll contour design, process parameter matching, and load configuration, systematically formulating a production plan. These efforts culminated in the successful first trial production of 1.5mm×1250mm high-strength patterned steel plates, overcoming longstanding technical barriers in the industry.
Since overcoming patterned steel production challenges in 2022, the ESP production line has continuously enhanced production stability and parameter precision, gradually establishing large-scale production capabilities for ultra-thin, high-strength patterned steel. This latest technological advancement not only solidifies the company’s leadership in niche markets but also empowers the enterprise to explore high-value-added product segments through differentiated competitive advantages, significantly boosting brand influence and market share.
